Scot Matayoshi is a dedicated public servant and educator with a robust academic background and diverse professional experience. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Government from Claremont McKenna College, a Master's in Teaching from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Hawaii. Matayoshi also attended the prestigious Punahou School, where he completed his high school education. His professional journey includes serving as a U.S. Senate Intern for Senator Daniel K. Akaka, working as an attorney, and teaching at Nanakuli High and Intermediate School. Currently, he represents District 49 in the Hawaii House of Representatives, where he continues to advocate for his community and contribute to state legislation.
