There seems to be no labelling on meat in supermarkets to inform the buyer what they are actually buying. The Halal method of slaughter seems to have been accepted & adopted by numerous slaughter houses - as proven by reports from supermarkets as to the meat they sell. 1. Why are we as a Christian Nation allowing Halal slaughter on our soil when the Muslim community only represents 4% of the nation? 2. Why does our Government believe that people in the UK are prepared to accept this method of slaughter for their meat? 3. Why does our UK elected government believe that the cruelty involved in Halal slaughter is acceptable to UK citizens?
