Stop fracking in UK national parks

Stop fracking in UK national parks
The Issue
The Government has just voted that they will allow fracking to take place in our national parks.
These are areas of outstanding national and international beauty and we are now going to allow heavy industrial equipment to plough it's way through regions of them and be a blot on the landscape.
Can we really afford to allow some of our only wild places left in the country to be industrialised and potentially be polluted?
Can we potentially afford to loose tourism funding because we make a place polluted or 'ugly' just to make a buck somewhere else?
Who actually gains from this?
Some people will accuse me of not seeing the benefits and not understanding the problem, but, I do see the benefits of the programme. I am not simply a tree hugger. I just want something on our planet to remain untouched, or at least as much as it can be.
I can only see this decision as one of greed. We want to keep investing in fossil fuels and not green tech.
Who wants to live on a planet with no green spaces or animals. There has been a 50% reduction in animals on our planet in 40 years. If the trend carrys on, there will be none.
It is easy for the Government to pick on national parks because few people live in these regions, so they do not have the NIMBY people banging on at them and making them loose votes.
Help me persuade Government to not go down this route. There are plenty of other places to frack which do not potentially destroy the national parks.
We need to speak up for our national parks to save them. No one else will!
