The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service is under strain and needs your help. This essentially lies in the hands of David Cameron and his Cabinet- When the Conservative party released their manifesto, they stated that they would be "increasing funding for mental health care", however we are yet to be told where that money is coming from.

It seems that for this to happen cuts will have to be made; if they are made to the health and social care sector, local mental health care trusts are put at risk. Over the course of the last parliament, Cameron’s first five years as PM, analysis suggests trusts have suffered a “real terms cut of 8.25% - the equivalent of stripping £598m from their budgets” and if this was to occur again, young people would be placed in an even more vulnerable position.

CAMHS needs help, not cuts. It needs investment instead of neglect and with your help this could happen. David Cameron has promised to increase funding for mental health services, I want him to keep his promise.
