I have started this petition since becoming a target of a very malicious group on Facebook under the name of Discuss. Debate. Rant! 

This cyber-bullying group was set up by an individual named Cindy Bond, and the title of the group is actually very misleading. 

• "Discuss" This group claims that it is there for discussion, yet when somebody is targeted and gets defended the admin team of the group very quickly bans the defendant, only allowing negative and nasty comments to stay put.
• "Debate" Debate is a formal contest of argumentation between two teams of individuals. However, the admin team of this group very quickly ban people for commenting against them. Leaving only one side.
• "Rant" To ​speak or ​shout in a ​loud, uncontrolled, or ​angry way, often saying ​confused or ​silly things: This group is far from uncontrolled, the trolls of this group are well aware of the comments and allegations that they are making against innocent people.

Myself and many other people believe that this group is actually a Cyber-bullying group and should not be allowed on Facebook any longer. It has gone on for way too long, and they even target children which are suffering from Cancer. 

Cyber-bullying is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Electronic technology includes devices and equipment such as cell phones, computers, and tablets as well as communication tools including social media sites, text messages, chat, and websites.There is not a specific law which makes cyber-bullying illegal but it can be considered a criminal offence under several different acts including Protection from Harassment Act (1997), Malicious Communications Act (1988), Communications Act (2003) Obscene Publications Act (1959) and Computer Misuse Act (1990).

This group also allows;

1.  Revenge porn - is sexually explicit images or video that is distributed without the consent of the subject.
2. Cyber-stalking - is the use of the Internet or other electronic to stalk or harass an individual, a group, or an organization. It may include false accusations, defamation, slander and libel. It may also include monitoring, identity theft, threats, vandalism, solicitation for sex, or gathering information that may be used to threaten or harass.
3. Defamation - libel and slander are civil wrongs that harm a reputation; decrease respect, regard, or confidence; or induce disparaging, hostile, or disagreeable opinions or feelings against an individual or entity. The injury to one's good name or reputation is affected through written or spoken words or visual images.
4. Childrens Welfare and Safety - This group also steals images and information of peoples children from social media accounts and uploads them onto there group, now they accept anybody into this group and have over 24,000 members. How do we not know that this group if not aready will be used in future for paedophiles to gain access to information and photos of children. 

I am sure everyone has reported a post to Facebook and been told it does not violate their community standards. Well we want Facebook to re look at their community standards, stop having such a Liberal attitude and make all types of cyber bullying against their rules. People would be arrested if they behaved like this on the street, Why should they be able to do it online? Well they shouldn't.

How many suicides is it going to take before Facebook start listening? 

During 2012 there were 5,981 suicides in the UK but the number of attempted suicides is much higher. Suicide occurs in people of all ages, including children, but adults in middle- and late-middle age have the highest suicide rate. Suicide is committed for many different reasons but is mainly down to being a victim of Bullying and Cyber-Bullying.

Why is it people are no longer standing up to the bullies? We all need to stand together and voice for the people who feel that they cannot speak out.

I am hoping that with enough signatures, this group will be taken down and Facebook will review their Community Standards so that other groups also like Discuss. Debate. Rant! will be taken down from social media too.
