After recent findings at a slaughter house in North Yorkshire all slaughter houses in the UK should by law have CCTV installed to make sure the animals are treated humanely before slaughter and the procedure is followed correctly. It's a bad enough situation that the animals are on their way to their deaths without being tortured before hand.  There is no need for this kind of inhumane treatment. They deserve some dignity and respect.  The most selfish beings on this earth seem to be the human being, with animals having to suffer at the hands of them, this has to stop. It must be heart breaking for some farmers to find out that the lambs/cows they reared and cared for are actually treated this way at their final destination. Lets put a stop to this now and make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Slaughtering the Halal way should also be reviewed, causing suffering to an animal in the name of god, I very much doubt god would inflict any suffering on any living being.
