Every year thousands of animals are injured or die of abuse and neglect. Often this violence against animals goes unpunished or very little is done regarding the individual. Animals are living breathing things and feel pain, they look upon us for love and guidance and some individuals feel its's okay to abuse these innocent creatures. There's also a strong link between abuse towards animals that can lead to violence to humans so It's best to get these violent criminals off the street to prevent any more animal and possible human suffering. I know some people think "oh it's just an animal" etc but that's not really the point and doesn't justify abuse towards them.

Animals don't deserve to be tortured and abused. An animal deserves the protection of the country. The law must be more strict against animal abusers.
