The Issue

There is currently no legislation in the UK which obliges certain businesses, schools or sports centres to have a defibrillator on the premises. Yet with one the has a 75%+ chance of survival after the first shock. The best chance of survival is being shocked within 4-6 minutes which proves hard with an ambulance response rate of typically more than 10 minutes. Keep your area safe and make it a legal requirement for businesses, sports centres and schools to have a defibrillator.
