As an Animal lover, I cannot bear to see people abusing animals and more or less getting away scot free. The United Kingdom is a country that claims to do its best to ensure equality for all in this nation, but I can't help but notice we treat animal lives with much less regard than our own particularly where the law is concerned. I remember watching a criminal profiling show a few years ago, they had been profiling a serial killer and a common theme surrounding serial killers is that they start off by abusing animals, killing and maiming with no remorse and finally moving on to people just like you and me. As an Animal lover, I see us focus so much on ourselves that our animal companions often suffer in silence. So, please if you love animals like I do join me and call for tougher laws and sentencing for abusive animals owners and let's take this petition to parliament!
