Fair Votes For UK Elections

The Issue

For people to believe in voting for their parliaments, their votes should reflect their wises.  In the United Kingdom this is not the case.  When a party wins by 6.8% over there closest rival party they shouldn't have 50% more seats.  This brings the electoral system into disrepute.

Conservative 36.9% 331 seats, 56.7% of seats

Labour 30.4% 232 seats, 35.7% of seats

UKIP 12.6% 1 seat, 0.15% of seats

Green 3.8% 1 seat 0.15% of seats

By having a fairer voting system the will of the people will be better represented and more people will take part in elections.
