Right now up and down the country many cancer patients are choosing to self medicate with cannabis oil. Hundreds of terminally ill patients are going online trying to buy this product or going to local drug dealers and many are simply getting scammed and ripped off. Current laws class anyone in possession of cannabis a criminal whether they have cancer or not. These people are not criminals but looking for something alternative to help them, they understand the lack of research in cannabis v cancer but if they still choose to try cannabis oil why are we classing them as a criminal and pushing them  towards drug dealers and online scammers? I would like a by-law put into to place or an exemption from the misuse of drugs act for cannabis so the terminally ill cancer patients are no longer classed as a criminal in possession of cannabis and in the hope that this can be the start of them getting what they are asking for in a safe manner.
