As we all know covid 19 pandemic is having great impact on our lives. A lot of families are going through financial crises and other difficulties. The Ministry of Health (MOH) has imposed RM 1,050 minimum + 2600 ( operationn fees )!!!? + RT-PCR test fee which totals to more than RM 3,700 in 10 days. Students will be quarantined, despite testing negative twice.

A lot of students currently studying in Malaysia won't be able to bear this cost due to financial crises and its too expensive that even in normal situations it is unbearable. We request the MOH to kindly review the quarantine policy By either reducing the quarantine amount by cancelling out the ( operations fees ) or not quarantining who test negative.

There are 130,110 international students currently studying in Malaysia and not all international students can bear this cost. Most students spend the amount for 3 - 4 months including accomodation, food and transportation. The amount will greatly effect the international students' lives in Malaysia.

We are optimistic that the MOH and MOHE will do the needful as they care about the welfare and wellbeing of all students.
