Join us at the tree on 21st E & Lonsdale everyday during daylight hours to protect it!

The details:
Despite local community opposition, there is a healthy 205 year old cedar tree that has been condemned to be cut down on the corner of 21st street and Eastern Avenue.

The destruction of this tree is a part of a plan to redevelop the Area around the Harry Jerome rec center. Darwin Construction (as approved by the CNV) has suggested this magnificent tree be replaced by the entrance to an underground parking lot alongside the corner of the newly proposed building.

We need to make our voices heard in order to have Darwin Construction and the city of North Vancouver reconsider their proposed development.

Please do not feel the need to donate any money to the petition, all donations made through change.org go entirely to change.org, not the cause, nor myself. With that being said we are not currently soliciting donations but will let folks know if that changes.
