Thank you again for your support. I filed a complaint with the EEOC over a year ago. They initially told me that there was no evidence to support my complaints and gave me the right to sue. It appeared from what they said that they did not really consider my complaints at all. I appealed the EEOC decision and they withdrew their initial decision. They just agreed with me stating "there is reasonable cause to believe that Respondent (DHMC) has discriminated against Charging party (me) by failing to keep her medical information confidential as required under the ADA". HOWEVER, they stated that they WOULD NOT consider my other claims of discrimination (the bulk of my case including wrongful termination) because I did not file in a timely matter. Please note that they supposedly investigated my complaints before and at no time, told me that I was not timely. AGAIN, THIS IS INJUSTICE! I need more support because I will continue to fight both the EEOC and DHMC by myself.
