In February, 700 told Daniel Zeichner that he would lose our votes if he didn't oppose the ongoing genocide in Palestine.
The time has come to make good on that promise.
Zeichner remained silent as Israel shelled refugee camps and bombarded Rafah. He said nothing as we watched people burn alive on social media. In May, UNRWA said that Gaza was hell on earth. Where was the outcry from our representative, our voice in parliament?
Instead, Zeichner tried to avoid coming to hustings, worried he would be faced with protests. It is an MP's job to remain accountable to their constituents. If we vote him in again, we will get more of the same; a career politician who just wants to remain a cog in a machine complicit in genocide.
The Tories won't win in Cambridge, so it is safe to vote tactically to get Zeichner out of office.
Thursday is our chance to send a clear message. We won't vote for genocide.
