Reform of the Legal System
The issue
We are calling on all victims of the Australian legal system to come forward and petition for change.
In Victoria alone, there have been numerous complaints about corrupt, deceptive lawyers and nothing has been done. The Victorian Legal Services Commissioner have had close to 2,000 complaints since 2019 and only 5 of those lawyers have been struck off. The media has recently highlighted some of these stats yet no action is being taken by the regulators on these alleged offences which arguably have been proven via evidence supplied to the legal governing bodies over a number of years.
We need change and we need it now before more people lose their lives, life earnings and livelihoods, not to mention the suffering of their mental health. The system is broken and needs to be overhauled with an independent investigation, ideally via a Royal Commission. The media has tried to bring attention to this issue, highlighting patterns of corrupt lawyers yet nothing happens and the Victorian Legal Services Commissioner turns a blind eye to it - this demonstrates an ongoing pattern by the Commissioner itself of 'corruption' and 'inaction' causing continued suffering for victims, further supported by the many negative Google reviews.
We call for everyone that has been impacted or witnessed the impact on victims of this so-called 'justice' system, many of who are innocent, law-abiding, tax-paying professionals and their families, to come forward and sign this petition and join us in lobbying for change.
We also ask that the 'good' lawyers and judges who are fighting the 'good fight' for innocent victims to take the time to come forward and report unlawful conduct they have witnessed by their industry peers.
We call all the relevant authorities who are responsible for the anti-corruption and proper management of the justice system to call for a Royal Commission into the Legal Industry without further delay.
We demand that these corrupt lawyers, the responsible industry bodies and relevant authorities be held accountable.
We need action NOW, enough is enough!!!
