Allow tennis in Victoria during lockdown

Tennis has been forgotten in the roadmap to reopening. Tennis has been proven time and time again to be a low risk outdoor activity.

Tennis coaches are almost all sole operators whose businesses have been decimated.this year. Semi-professional and professional players, have nowhere to train.

Yet, its ok to have a personal trainer with two clients? How are outdoor swimming pools somehow "safer"? There is no evidence linking tennis to COVID 19 in Australia, and in fact US studies have shown it is even lower risk than going for a walk and grocery shopping, and the same risk as getting a takeaway - all activities that are currently allowed.

Local tennis clubs successfully operated previously during Stage 3 lockdown in compliance with DHSS and Council regulations (e.g. 10 people per venue, booking courts, no use of clubrooms). Most club members live within a 5km radius of their local club and don't have to travel to enjoy outdoor exercise.

There is no reason for clubs to remain closed.

Please change the roadmap and allow our tennis courts to be open next week.
