The Issue
From the "SINCERE MUSLIM COMMUNITY" of South Africa....
In Conjunction with Respected and Prominent Senior Ulema(Scholars): Mufti AK Hoosen, Maulana Ahmad Sadeck Desai (Majlis, PE), Maulana Salim Karim, Mufti Siraj Desai and other Senior Ulema(Scholars) of South Africa in Total Favour of this Urgent and Needed request to be Granted in and from Level 4.
Sadly the High Courts have based previous dismissal decisions by and with Misconceptions and without proper Senior Religious Scholars consultation. If Correct Advice were sought out from the Senior, Most Experienced Islamic Scholars, then a more Better Understanding and Correct Insight would have been brought to light.
Respected Sir Understanding is Vital and thee most fundamental aspect in any needed situation and as Fair and concerned you claim to be to your Follow Citizens and people, then know that the True Divine Words of Almighty Allah are being deafened. A lot has been lost but still plentiful to be Gained! So lets not shun out a Significant aspect of the people's requests and the people whom you claim to admire and respect, then oblige yourself and grant what is Fair and Rightful onto them.
By having the Mosques closed was and is Truly an INJUSTICE TO THE COUNTRY OF SOUTH AFRICA AND ITS PEOPLE OF THIS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY!!
The Greatness of Obligatory(Compulsory) and Sincere Congregational Prayer in The Houses of Almighty Allah(The Mosques), comes with Divine Mercy. South Africa at Large Needs Almighty Allah's Mercy to descend upon. Seeking the Almighty Allah's Divine assistance to easen and Remove any greater threats of the Virus COVID-19 to South Africa.
The Blessed month of Fasting (Ramadan) has reached, wherein every door of Almighty Allah's Mercy are open, but unfortunately restricted to gain Maximum Benefit Collectively. Every opportunity seized is not only beneficial to just one individual but to the Communities at Large, that Worship, prostrate and Plead to Almighty for Divine Assistance. God Allah is the Most fair to every Human and surely he will not turn away his Sincere and Devoted Worshipers.
The lockdown regulations have prevented us Muslim citizens of South Africa from performing the obligatory prayers in the Mosques and has created spiritual depression in Muslims and will be doing more with still being restricted at Alert Level 4.
The lockdown has deprived us Muslims of essential worship which can surely be a means and a source of restoration of favorable conditions to South Africa.
Considering the Shariah (Islamic Law), we Muslims are required to pray five times daily in the Mosques. The first prayer before sunrise, the second at noon, the third in the late afternoon, the fourth after sunset, and the fifth in the early evening.
Each Prayer from given Call of the Adhaan to completion of Compulsory Prayer is approximately 45min per prayer.
Prayer has been, is and will always be a powerful medium for gaining the pleasure and aid of the Almighty Creator. From Level 5 Lockdown and now down to Level 4, We therefore respectfully request you to facilitate attendance at Mosques in and from the Level 4 regulations.
With accepting from Level 4 until risk per level lessens in having a Restricted Quantity of 50(fifty) Worshipers per Congregation Seating. The preventative measures recommended by government to reduce the spread of the virus, such as the compulsory wearing of masks and basic screening would be imposed on organizations managing Mosques as a prerequisite to us Muslims attending at Mosques. CLEANLINESS, HYGIENE AND PURITY ARE FUNDAMENTAL ASPECTS OF OUR FAITH.
We request the government to understand that just as physical food is essential for the survival of people, so too is spiritual food (worship) essential for our spiritual survival.
With respect and sincerity, we request you to consider and grant our request to opening our Mosques now at and from ALERT LEVEL 4, for us to Worship and Plead to Almighty Allah in no other Greater and Purest places than his Houses, the Mosques.
Insha Allah (God Willing) the Almighty Allah assist us all South Africans and favour upon us his Mercy through his Divine Mercy. Ameen
