Did you see the news? A Cleveland judge recently found probable cause to bring criminal charges against the two officers who shot and killed Tamir. Although this judge cannot file the charges, this is a positive step for our family. Finally, someone from the judicial system is saying what we’ve long known to be true. I’m tired of hearing that Tamir brought this on himself. I’m tired of hearing that it’s too hard to tell what happened. What happened to Tamir was clearly criminal, and this judge acknowledged that it’s worth bringing the two officers before a court of law. This is the first indication that justice is coming. We remain hopeful. It’s now up to the prosecutor to make the decision we have all been waiting for. We need to keep the pressure up until the officers responsible for Tamir’s death are finally brought to justice. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you’ve done.
