I want to share another important update with everyone following this petition.
The YouTube version of the podcast segment has now been removed. The Apple Podcasts and Spotify versions also appear to have been taken down.
This follows the station’s earlier statement that the content was “not consistent with station or company policy.”
That matters.
It confirms that the concern raised in this petition was valid—and that action was taken.
However, this is not the full resolution.
No public acknowledgment or explanation has been issued, and it remains unclear whether all versions of the segment have been removed across every platform.
I also want to be transparent: my access to the station’s Facebook and Instagram pages remains restricted, which limits my ability to independently verify what content may still be visible.
While I appreciate the steps that have been taken, the core issue has not changed.
When private individuals—especially those living with medical conditions—become the subject of widely distributed media content, they have no opportunity to respond or defend themselves.
And once that content is amplified online, the impact extends far beyond the original broadcast.
This petition was never just about one segment.
It is about setting a clearer standard moving forward.
The petition remains active.
If you believe accountability should be public—not quiet—and that respect should apply to everyone, your voice still matters here.
Sharing this petition helps keep that conversation going.
