Most universities offer multiple dining halls, which give students access to more nutritious food options, are cost-effective, and provide additional space for community building through shared meals. With the loss of places like The Nugget and the Student Union Building, the university has tried to compensate by increasing food vendors, who operate on their own schedules. A dining hall is the most common way to serve all students, staff, and faculty- rain or shine.
