The Issue

I am one of hundreds of individuals who have fallen victim to a sophisticated fraudulent scheme allegedly perpetrated by BP Auctions, Barham Properties, and GLS Solicitors. This orchestrates an elaborate line of deception related to property auctions running at the national level. We, the victims, have sought help and raised our voices to Action Fraud, SRA, Property Ombudsman, and The Law Society, all of which have been met with silence and inaction.

Our personal experiences and collective outrage is stoked by the ill-considered response from supposed safeguards of property law. This elaborate fraud reflects patterns consistent with white-collar crimes that inflict significant socio-economic harm. The 2020 report from the UK's National Crime Agency (NCA) indicates that fraud has now become the most commonly experienced crime, affecting one in 15 people (NCA Annual Report, 2020). The potential scale of this deception is alarming and could deeply undermine confidence in the UK's property sector.

This petition calls on the relevant authorities to pursue a criminal investigation against BP Auctions, Barham Properties, and GLS Solicitors. We deserve justice and protection against such acts of sophisticated fraud. A deep and thorough investigation is required to unmask the truth.

Without action, the number of victims in this rampant deception will only rise. Assert your power as voices of citizens. Demand accountability. Support our fight against organized fraud and sign this petition today.

These companies are taking large deposits from victims through pressure tactics, false advertising of properties, delaying completion, sending legal packs late, adding astronomical rent arrears when the property has been vacant for years on the completion statement or adding extreme sellers fees in a bid that the buyer either delays after the completion date or simple cannot afford to pay the extra hidden costs on the completion statement. Or they are selling houses that are being bought by 2/3 people at the same time.
These companies are being deceptive in a tactic to keep the deposits.
