Meeting with My Local MP on Tuesday

Craig TampinNewcastle, United Kingdom
Jul 26, 2026

This Tuesday, I’ll be meeting with my local MP to discuss the confirmed gap in trauma support for dog attack victims — something the Department of Health has already admitted does not exist.

I’ll be sharing our story, the petition’s progress, and the voices of over 36,000 supporters who agree that families should never be left without help after such traumatic events.

My goal is simple:
To push for a national trauma pathway , one that offers immediate, support, parental guidance( when needed ), and follow up care without age barriers.

I have 5 key points to take to this meeting:

  1. No pathway exists
  2. He was denied support due to age from certain referrals/charities
  3. Public support is evident
  4. Trauma can have long lasting effects
  5. What a pathway could look like.

Your continued support gives this campaign strength.
Every signature, every share, and every comment helps show that this issue matters,  not just to one family, but to thousands across the country.

Thank you for standing with us.
I’ll hopefully have a positive update after the meeting.
