Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by raccoons. Their playful nature, intelligence and distinctive appearance captured my imagination, and I've always dreamt of owning one as a pet. Yet, here in the UK, this dream is nearly impossible due to the lack of a proper system that allows for their responsible ownership. It's time to change that.

Raccoons, while not traditionally thought of as domestic companions, can make wonderful pets when cared for correctly.
