Create a quieter Crescent Street in LIC

The Issue

As a primary artery to the Queensboro Bridge, Crescent Street is plagued by continuous and unnecessary honking that affects the wellbeing of Queens residents. Please sign the petition to create a quieter Crescent Street and improve the quality of life in Long Island City. Queens residents deserve the same quality of life as other areas of the City.

We're asking for "No Honking" signs to be installed along Crescent Street from 38th Avenue to Queens Plaza North and strict and ongoing enforcement of these signs through ticketing of honking offenders by the NYPD.

This petition will be submitted to Mayor de Blasio, DOT Commissioner Polly Trottenberg, Council Member Van Bramer, Representative Carolyn Maloney, State Senator Michael Gianaris and Assembly Member Catherine Nolan
