Many people face oppression, abuse, or fear inside their own homes. Sometimes, the family members who are suffering cannot speak up or seek help because they live with the oppressor. There is no safe and confidential system to protect such individuals.

 

 

 I believe the government should create a system where family members can report oppression secretly through an app, website, or phone number.

Once reported, authorities should:

1. Appoint an investigator to monitor the oppressor’s activities discreetly.

2. Collect evidence through neighbours or coworkers without creating suspicion.

3. Separate the family and oppressor safely.

4. Provide a shelter for the oppressor with only basic needs.

5. The oppressor’s income should go into a government account, and a fair part of it should support the family.

6. When children are small, the government can bear some of the oppressor’s expenses, but as they grow, that expense can be repaid gradually in small installments.

7. During this time, the oppressor should receive training and moral guidance to become a better person.

8. Children may meet their parent under supervision, so they feel hope that their parent is improving.

 

Every person deserves safety, peace, and respect in their home.
