As an indie author and a reader, I am passionate about making books accessible to readers across the Philippines. Unfortunately, the current library system is limited in selection and does not allow readers to request specific books online. It's disheartening to see many readers turning to piracy due to the lack of available options.

To combat book piracy and support local authors, I am calling on the Philippine government to establish a free online library where authors are compensated each time their book is borrowed.

By creating a free online library, we can promote a culture of reading and intellectual growth. It would also encourage more writers to share their work, knowing that they will be fairly compensated and protected from piracy.
