This is a statement of support for post-Covid outdoor urban activations in the Victoria Street dining precinct, specifically in the large private outdoor carpark on the corner of Victoria and Nicholson Street, where Covid-safe outdoor events can be held with food stalls/trucks, music, chalk art etc., involving local traders and talent.

This will reintegrate local residents back into their broader community after a prolonged period of quarantine, reduce the density of anti-social activity in the area, and reinvigorate one of Melbourne's most famous dining precincts as we head into the warmer months, while still maintaining social distancing best practices.
