Pallara Qld located approximately 17 kilometres from Brisbane city and under LGA Brisbane City Council with rapid growth in construction of housing density has NO public services available for the General public, there is no bus services available for residents to utilise within our area.

Residents, business hubs, commuters and family/friends have no way of connecting in and out of our suburb unless you walk 7 plus kilometres through terrain of unpathed streets and main connecting road heavily under construction with road closures, trucks, work vehicles, workers and road which has been patch worked. This is not a safe journey for people of Pallara to endure. Safety of our children is paramount in our current climate and is not a safe suburb to walk whilst their is so much movement with developments and our main road in and out is used as an alternate corridor for cars to access alternate suburbs, the roads at night are unsafe with multiple accidents from Ritchie Rd or cars doing burnouts, the lack of support by our Local LNP has led to drastic measures.

Based on the modelling of the new Pallara estates in 2016 they listed extensively that public transport would be available for residents with Bus Services. 5 years later and still no bus services available.

PLEASE sign this petition to change that and get basic services this community needs whether you are commuting to high school, senior learning centres, work or elderly partaking in appointments, young family needing transport, commuting to job prospects or even wanting to visit Pallara because you have family/friends who reside here the community greatly needs bus services available given our area is still under construction and safety is a concern.

Our community is willing to accept change but we need change in order for our suburb to grow in a manner that is also community driven by providing basic public transport services.
