The Canadian Premier League is Canada’s ONLY professional all-Canada League. Founded with 7 teams in 2019, this league is uniquely positioned to showcase and develop Canadian soccer talent.

Saskatoon youth soccer has more players involved than any other sport, but without a clear path to the pros most young players stop playing at age 17 or 18. A CPL team in Saskatoon can help provide opportunities for a career in pro soccer to our homegrown talent.

By signing this petition you are putting your name behind our youth and signalling to the City, the League and the owners that there is an appetite and a willingness to support a Pro Soccer Franchise in Saskatoon.

This petition builds on the SK Summer Soccer Series of 2019. The mantra of “Let’s Go Pro Saskatchewan” has not yet been fulfilled. It will require much awareness—awareness that starts with signing, and then sharing, this petition. This summer is a pivotal summer in seeing Saskatoon selected for a franchise in 2021.
