The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum is being threatened with closure. It is an iconic museum in an equally famous part of Coventry, standing alongside the world-famous Cathedral.

Despite having recently had an exhibition which pulled in near 300,000 visitors, from all across the country, and being at the heart of educating children and adults alike, the museum is due to close.

Coventry City Council has said that because of cuts, which apparently need to be made, the museum's future is in jeopardy. We can't let this happen.

The time for action is now, sign the petition and get the City Councillors to change their minds. Coventry has always been the city of people power, let's put that to good use.
