What if 200 MD jobs were eliminated at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (HSN - Health Sciences North) Just as occurred to nearly 200 faculty and staff at Laurentian University?   Losing two thirds of its team of MDs would, seriously impact health care for everyone served by the hospital across North Eastern Ontario (about half a million people)

WHO SHOULD SIGN?
ANYONE FROM NORTH EASTERN ONTARIO OR WITH CLOSE FAMILY IN THE REGION

WHY?
·       BECAUSE YOU CARE ABOUT OUR HEALTH CARE SERVICES
·       BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT THE SYSTEM CANNOT BE COUNTED ON TO PROTECT THESE SERVICES JUST AS THEY DID NOT TAKE CARE OF LAURENTIAN UNIVERSITY
·       BECAUSE YOU ARE SICK OF SEEING FAILURE AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF PUBLIC SERVICE REWARDED WITH NEW JOBS AND RAISES FOR THOSE WHO HAVE MISMANAGED PUBLIC RESOURCES

As many of you know a key player in the demise of Laurentian University is now CEO of HSN. The stakes are too high to simply overlook the disastrous decisions that drove the demise of another major public institution. I’ve recently launched a new Petition seeking new, competent, trustworthy leadership for the Sudbury Regional Hospital (aka Health Sciences North / Horizon Sante Nord)

If you are among those served by the hospital or whose families are and agree that our critical health care infrastructure needs to be protected, please read and sign the Petition by following the link above. Be sure to provide your contact information (it validates and supports your signature) in confidence that it will not be shared or published. Only those leaving comments will have their names visible.

Share the petition as you see fit in the interest of seeking other signatories. There is no budget for promotion, This is entirely a grassroots effort.

NB:  None of the other parties involved in the Stop The KED petition are connected to this current appeal for support.

*** The image above is from another Ontario hospital this summer but the dire scenario persists and could easily become reality in Sudbury if a Laurentian scaled event were to impact the Sudbury Regional Hospital (aka Health Sciences North / Horizon Sante Nord).

WE NEED TO ACT NOW, NOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS AND COMPLAIN ABOUT IT LATER.

LET US ASSERT CONTROL OF OUR CRITICAL PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS AND HEALTH CARE SERVICES
