This petition is currently the biggest weapon in our arsenal for killing KED dead like it should be. The constantly growing number of signatures proves that we are not alone in our opposition to the KED scam.

But we can't afford to get self congratulatory.  

If you think you have done your bit then think again lazy.   This is a recipe for failure.   The only way we will actually prevail is through strength of numbers.    There is no team of people beating the bushes here at change.org.   Just three agitators sending emails and distributing some petitions.

This has to be a group effort or the City of Greater Sudbury will suffer even more than it already has.    

If you want to stop the KED, then stop what you are doing now and go and. convince just one other person to actually sign this petition.   And I mean, call them up and talk to them in real time, individually.   If you already know folks who are similarly disgusted by the KED scam, then tell them to do something about it and sign or petition.   

In an interview for the Sudbury Star yesterday , I was asked if I think the 1700 signatures we had generated at that point was significant.

If the fact that 1700 people signed in less than a week on a petition relying on no funding or paid promotion whatever is not a sign of a groundswell of public solidarity against the KED then I don't know what is.  1700 is a statistically significant percentage of eligible municipal voters making a public statement of their opposition.  They are the tip of an iceberg of dissent about to sink the ship of fools called KED currently charting a course for the municipal dump.  

And think, our simple petition has resulted in 1700 more votes against KED than the dozen or so individuals who are public promoters of the scam.

Now go and get some more signatures!!!   I'm not going to beg you or thank you for doing the right thing for our city, our families and our future.
