Reminder: Protest will be 5pm Monday August 1st at Columbia Heights City Hall. Special meeting will take place at 5:30.
There will be a city meeting at 5:30pm to discuss an official investigation. You are welcome to go to the meeting or stay with us outside.
RULES:
Our Objective - To support Justice and to ask for the resignation of KT Jacobs.
- This is a peaceful protest. All ages are welcome and we ask that everyone be decent to each other.
- We will stay only on public property. No one should be in the street or blocking traffic or doorways.
- If a person becomes disruptive we have people in place to deal with them and do de-escalation. Do not focus on the disruption, focus on the objective.
- It will be hot. Please bring water, sunscreen, hats ect to help keep yourself cool.
- Signs are welcome. There might also be chanting.
- We will stay until the resignation happens or the work meeting ends. Come when you can, stay as little or long as you want. Once the meeting ends our protest will officially end. If you wish to stay later it is up to you.
