Great news everyone, Not only are we nearing the 1000 signatures mark (only 300 more to go if you can keep sharing), but I've just received the following from Mayor Jo Dawkins: "Thank you Maya, I have no intention of voting to close the Vera View dog beach. I have not been able to respond to any emails as too many as am just back from O/S. However I believe we have the numbers to keep the dog beach open. Thank you Jo" I have also called every councillor who will be voting tonight and the majority have said they are voting against closing the beach so hopefully this will be reflected at tonight's meeting.
