The health and well-being of our children are in GREAT Danger, it’s time to let the KIDS be KIDS,

To put the facts on the table... more kids die of the FLU every year than they have from COVID,  the mortality rate in Kids is so, so, so low, less than a percent!!!! Yet, we have shut down these kids from living their life, in order to save them? NO, suicide has gone up and it is a direct result of these kids being trapped in isolation. IT ENDS NOW, with yours help we the people, can come together and take a stand. Suicide is 100% preventable... so let’s DO SOMETHING! I understand it’s scary, I understand it’s confusing, I understand it’s a hard judgement call. But, I refuse to understand why our KIDS, who are the lowest in danger to this disease, are the ones losing their lives because of the shutdown. It’s time to let the KIDS be KIDS! Let the KIDS LIVE! 

I have laid out a huge problem, here’s the solution, open up our schools, open up their sports, and most importantly open up the discussion of mental health to these kids, so we can stop this suicidal cycle. This has done more trauma to them than adults can ever realize, they don’t understand why their world was shut down, and even once they understand, there’s are still a host of feelings for them to sort through, figure out, and talk about. Let’s bring HOPE back to these kids, and give them back their life that this shut down has taken. 

ps. My heart goes out to every kid or adult who’s has suffered Loss in any form, Before during and after this pandemic. Nothing can replace a loss. And I grieve alongside you.
