Dear all i’m Barry Sandford head coach of Cooper’s Boxing Academy at Bellingham leisure centre sir Henry Cooper Sons  give us the name for Cooper’s Boxing Academy , 

we have just landed a bronze statue on the corner of Bellingham and Randalldown Road , 

here at Cooper’s boxing Academy all staff are DBS checked fully insured safeguarding in place first-aid qualified 

we help children from all spectrums of life and Young adults , 

with ADHD mental health children with autism Parkinson’s and children who want to compete in boxing and young adult , we try our best in helping to support knife crime within the borough , 

so sir Henry Cooper And used to train in the fellowship pub  opposite the leisure centre Phoenix community housing and the property , I believe there was a grant of 1.2 million to regenerate the pub , Phoenix community housing let the public house out it opened and shop within months because of high-priced beverages and food it didn’t fit in the community , but unfortunately the pub has now been shut for over six months answer me that is a shame and a waste of money of something what could be used as well in the community , sir henry’s two sons said to me why don’t you try and go and get the gym in the public house well how father used to workout that’s a brilliant idea absolute no brainer , so we would like to start the petition and get Phoenix housing so how’s the Boxing Club in the pub we do this three times a week voluntary we are happy to pay rent happy to pay for anything needs doing on our side we’re not asking for a freebie , such an iconic thing to do in the community the statue on the corner of the road of Sir Henry Cooper, boxing Club call Cooper’s and Boxing Academy which the Cooper family give us the name Think this really could happen For Cooper’s Boxing Academy to go into the public house , 

do you want to do this for the community for the children of the community the people of the community and in the good name of Sir Henry Cooper , 

we do our best to help young adults back into work help them achieve a scholarship help them in amateur boxing and professional boxing what ever they choose to do we are behind them 100% 

Asking for some help that’s all nothing more nothing less , we are self funded we also give back to the community like of st Christophers Hospice which we just donated , so I’m asking the people of the surrounding areas of Bellingham and Bellingham estate itself to help us start this petition , so when I step down it can continue for the younger generation to carry on the great work they do in the community ,  please please I’m asking you to help us achieve this goal ,
