The proposed roundabout installation at the intersection of Womma and Stebonheath Roads at Edinburgh North may be fast tracked as a result of the recent development by Drakes supermakets to locate its distribution centre just down the road. This is something that needs to be brought forward urgently. While it’s encouraging that the construction of the roundabout has been in the pipeline for some time, this particular intersection is a known hotspot for accidents, with near misses reported each day and a recent collision at the intersection only weeks ago. We want to set a goal to get to 5,000 electronic signatures by the end of July. We are already at around 3,500. Please sign the petition if you haven’t already done so and share it on social media.
