We are not disputing your right to protest, to allow your voices to be heard on the topics you want to present to the New Zealand Government. However we hold concerns over the manner you have currently chose to voice them, your presence at on the Parliament grounds during a pandemic. 

Every New Zealander holds a right to protest at the Parliament Grounds in accordance to the rules as presented to you by the Speaker of the House. We understand you are voicing concerns against Covid-19 mandates, but we feel mass gatherings is not an appropriate form of protest during a pandemic when we have all been working so hard and sacrificed much to keep Covid-19 under control in the last two years.  

We respectfully ask you to return to your homes  and find another way of protesting which does not put other people at risk of getting Covid. Regardless of how we all feel about vaccine / mask mandates or how our Government has chosen to deal with it, one fact remains.... Covid kills, Long Covid takes a toll.

Mandates will not be forever, they are a Public Heath Measure to allow us to cope with Covid-19 through out our country and to limit the death and disability in its wake... please just go home and find another way.
