According to the British Beer & Pub Association (BBPA), pubs contribute £22.1 billion to the UK economy and support over half a million jobs. Moreover, pubs often play a pivotal role in fostering social cohesion and community spirit. We strongly believe that the pub could continue to thrive and contribute immensely to the community's social and economic well-being if sold to dedicated local owners. Hence, we urge Stody Estate to reconsider their decision and sell the Hunny Bell pub, thereby safeguarding its long-term future in the heart of our community.
