The decision to launch this petition is driven by my belief that Mitt Romney is an impressive centrist mind that is exactly what America needs in this pivotal point in time, and by my belief that had Mitt Romney achieved victory in the 2012 elections, we would have avoided the tumultuous chapters of recent American history associated with the tenure of certain leaders. Consider this, had Mitt Romney won in 2012 it would’ve been Mitt Vs Obama 2.0 in 2016 (rather then Trump v Clinton), assuming that the loser of that race goes on to win 2020 your suddenly faced with the reality that we could have had either Obama or Romney as president right now instead of the idiot that’s in there now, plus we could’ve avoided the Trumptacular Turdstorm all together. 

Mitt Romney presents a unique and inspiring political figure, possessing not only a substantial independent grassroots following but a track record of distinctive policy positions poised to address the current economic challenges the United States faces, such as the pressing inflation crisis. Mitt’s history of consistently advocating for fiscal responsibility and targeted economic intervention suggests that he could guide our nation towards a future of greater economic stability. As per records, during his service as the Governor of Massachusetts (2003-2007), Romney made significant progress in reducing the state's deficit, symbolizing his commitment to prudent fiscal management [source: National Governors Association].

Mitt Romney’s potential nomination as the No Labels Candidate presents a chance for us to witness politics centered around reasonable debate, compromise, and thoughtful policy making - just what America needs at this juncture. In this version of America we face today we are slowly realizing we’re being forced into a path with no clear ending in sight no matter what candidate we vote for (between Trump and Biden). Both candidates are incompetent (and mentally unfit in scarily different ways). The presented alternative, Robert F. Kennedy, isn’t any better mentality wise and has been denounced for the mentally unfit incumbent (Biden) by nearly all democrats including his entire family. America needs a real path forward, a come to the middle candidate that will take ideas from both sides and make good decisions based on presented information, Mitt Romney displayed this ability incredibly well when he stood against republican pressure from his fellow senators and denounced Trumps riot at the capital as an organized insurrection, weather he was right or wrong he displayed incredible ability to stand for order and what he believes to be true. If you are an American who believes that we deserve a path forward that doesn’t involve Trump or Biden in the White House then Mitt Romney deserves your careful and unbiased consideration, he is the most centrist voice we’re going to find in todays political atmosphere, and not only that, but fellow independent senators Angus King and Joe Manchin, who have both worked with Mitt extensively in the past and recently, would both make excellent running mates!
