SD Perry is a tremendous author who managed to corral the early Resident Evil videogames into a taut and thrilling book series. Not only did she deftly handle a series that at times takes unpredictable twists and turns narratively, she did it with style and panache.

So what are we asking for? We think that Capcom should present SD Perry the opportunity to plot out an upcoming Resident Evil game. Are we serious about this request? Ab-so-damn-lutely. Do we think that it will actually happen? No but if Samwise can play for Notre Dame and score the winning touchdown than we can get this done! And if not I think this is a wonderful time to show our appreciation for one of the best damn write-for-hire authors out there.

So in this oncoming era of AI Slopification of storytelling, let's take the time to lift an artist up.
