President Biden has had a successful term, but his age and appearance are detriments to his campaign for reelection. It is time for a new generation of leadership, ensuring that the country continues to thrive and preventing any chance of Trump reclaiming power. The New York Times printed a letter from the initial petitioners on November 30, 2022 suggesting, Mr. Biden, Don’t Run (see the fourth letter). On February 16, 2024, New York Times columnist Ezra Klein said that Democrats Have a Better Option Than Biden, with justification and plans for choosing a new candidate at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this August.
