As a homeowner in Southpoint Estates, I believe we should be allowed to continue requesting temporary parking permits for overnight street parking. These permits are essential for us to host guests at our homes without the worry of parking violations. The ability to obtain these permits ensures that our friends and family can visit us comfortably and safely. The board would like to completely eliminate this option, with no exceptions. Removing this option would create unnecessary inconvenience and hinder our ability to enjoy social gatherings. 

The board will be voting on this at the next meeting. It is on Thursday, June 6th, at 5:30 PM. It is held at the Management Trust office located at 2540 Professional Parkway, Santa Maria CA 93455. 

If approved on June 6th there will be a 28 day comment period. The rule will then go into effect at the next meeting, Thursday July 11th.
