Our community has faced a significant loss since the closing of the Crete Memorial Civic Center in May 2022, leaving us without a substantial venue for concerts or sports. Inspired by SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, with a regular seating capacity of 70,240 and expansion capabilities for up to 100,240 attendees, we propose the construction of a similar venue in either the City or Town of Plattsburgh. Such a venue would restore the availability of large-scale events and enrich our community's cultural and sporting opportunities. Sign this petition and help us bring this vision to life.
