Chester-Le-Street is in desperate need of another artificial pitch to support the needs of sports development. Our young people are passionate about sports, but they lack the necessary facilities to nurture their talents and interests. 

Chester-Le-Street has a population of over 23,000 people (source: Office for National Statistics), many of whom are young individuals with a keen interest in sports. However, our current infrastructure does not meet this demand. The addition of an artificial sports surface pitch would provide a much-needed space for these activities.

The benefits go beyond just physical health; participation in team sports can help improve mental well-being and foster community spirit among our youth (source: Sport England). An investment into such facilities is an investment into the future generation's health and social cohesion.

We urge local authorities to consider this proposal seriously. The construction of an artificial sport surface pitch will not only promote physical activity among young people but also contribute positively towards their overall well-being and community engagement.
