Cars go up Kimberworth Road at dangerous speeds, endangering the public. The area is especially busy during school drop off and pick up times with many children needing to cross the road.

We are lucky to have a school crossing patrol, he does a super job and is very much respected by the local community. Unfortunately during periods of absence his role is not covered. We have also witnessed a few near misses where drivers have continued to drive despite our crossing patrol being in the road. Installing a crossing can only assist the crossing patrol in his endeavours.

This road is getting busier and a permanent crossing can be used throughout the day by everyone.

The council says someone in the local vicinity has to die as a result of a road traffic accident before they will consider a new crossing. Is this acceptable? No! Please sign this petition, get your voice heard, help make our roads safer.
