Australia, with its large tourist influx and thriving culture, provides an optimal location for a next Disneyland. Currently, there is no Disneyland on the Australian continent, and the nearest one is in Hong Kong, more than 9012.326 kilometres away. Australia welcomed 9.4 million tourists in 2019 (Australian Bureau of Statistics), and having a Disneyland will provide another world-class attraction and significantly boost the tourism industry further, contributing to the GDP. This project could potentially create thousands of jobs, from construction to operation, and further diversify the Australian entertainment sector. Disneyland is well-known for offering enchanting, immersive experiences enjoyed by millions on an international scale. Australians deserve to have that magic in their backyard, and an Australian Disneyland could also attract tourists from neighbouring countries. Therefore, we call on Disney Company and the Australian government to take steps towards establishing a Disneyland in Australia.
