Dear "Conserve Henry" Petitioners,

Thank you so much for your continued support. We appreciate those who could attend the Henry County Commissioners Board Meeting on October 17th. We packed the room and the commissioners definitely heard our voices! The Commissioners agreed to table the decision on the Future Land Use Map and look at reworking the map. They will vote on the final version at a special called meeting on October 30th, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at 140 Henry Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253.

We should note this will not be a public hearing so we the public cannot speak. That being said, please stay vigilant about contacting your district commissioner regarding what you don't and do want to see in your district regarding the density of the map. They will be the ones making the revisions and final decisions on their county district constituents' behalves.

We understand that a lot of people still want to watch the meeting as they may not be able to attend the decision meeting on October 30th as it is during business working hours. We recommend you keep an eye on Henry County Government's Facebook Page at the time of the meeting as they usually stream it live.
