I visit its museums to appreciate animals. 
 
So why is Smithsonian supporting the nation’s WORST kitten laboratory?

Smithsonian’s laboratory just acquired 7 cats from Auburn's kitten mill.

Styx. Sting. Abba. Genesis. Zepplin. Chicago. Santana.

These 7 cats were named after famous musicians and rock bands! My Freedom of Information Act investigation confirms it. 

• BORN FOR PAIN: Auburn purpose-breeds sick and CRIPPLED kittens. It ships them to labs for taxpayer-funded experimentation.   
• AWFUL LIVES: Blindness. Tremors. Seizures. Paralysis.  
• BUSTED: Authorities cited this kitten mill for 10 federal animal welfare violations—at just one inspection!  
• HUNDREDS OF CATS: Last year they imprisoned and abused 338 cats—a 40% increase.  
• ENVIGO FOR CATS: Remember the 4,000 beagles bred and sold to NIH? Well, Auburn is the Envigo for kittens. And Smithsonian is a loyal consumer!

But unlike "Sting," "Abba," and Smithsonian's other lab cats, this abused Siamese kitten wasn’t named after a rockstar. He was just Govt ID #8-1761.  
 
And I’m DISGUSTED that Smithsonian—one of my all-time favorite museums—is now in bed with Auburn.
